Our Story

Newhall Hardware is part of a proud, three-generation family tradition built on service, trust, and community. The Orlandini family has been serving Southern California since 1966, when Vince Orlandini purchased Newland Hardware in El Sereno, Los Angeles. Vince believed that a neighborhood hardware store should be more than just a place to buy supplies; it should be a place where people feel welcome, supported, and connected.

That philosophy has guided the family ever since. Over the years, Vince’s sons, Jim and John, and daughter Janet carried the torch forward. Today, Jim and Paula Orlandini, along with their son Jimmy, continue that legacy through Newhall Hardware, Newland Hardware, and Altadena Hardware.

Each store reflects the Orlandini family’s commitment to combining old-fashioned service with modern convenience. Whether it’s helping a first-time homeowner, assisting a local contractor, or supporting a community event, Newhall Hardware is dedicated to making every project and every person a priority.

While Rob Orlandini isn’t currently active in day-to-day operations, his dedication and vision helped shape the family’s growth and modernization, contributions that remain a valued part of the Orlandini legacy.
